Citigroup, Inc. Earnings Outlook More Than Tripled (C,JPM)

Citigroup, Inc's (NYSE:C) earnings outlook was given a boost by Keefe, Bruyette & Woods analysts Monday morning, who raised the bank's 2010 earnings outlook from $0.07 per share to $0.27 per share.
The analysts, however, said that Citigroup's "improvement in asset quality lagged behind a few of its peers" like JP Morgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM), reports MarketWatch.
Citigroup's rating is maintained at market perform with a $4.70 per share price target.
The bank's rating was also maintained by Oppenheimer & Co. at outperform, with a price target of $4.45 per share.
