【TechWeb消息】2010年1月14日消息，据未经证实的消息称，谷歌将放弃与有关部门间的协商，将在2月底前退出中国，仅保留手机Andriod平台相关业务。据称会有100人左右的Andriod工程师留下，另外工程师可根据项目性质进行转岗。

1月12日，谷歌公司发展事务副总裁、首席法律顾问大卫·多姆德(David Drummond)在博客中说，谷歌集团已经决定不愿再审查我们在Google.cn上的搜索结果，因此如果可能，公司将在未来几周和中国相关部门讨论在什么样基础上能够在法律框架内运营未经过滤的搜索引擎。

多姆德在博文中表示，谷歌承认这很可能意味着公司将不得不关闭Google.cn，以及我们在中国的办公室。

谷歌中国昨天晚些时候对媒体表示，对目前取得的成绩感到骄傲，并称正在审视总部决定，希望能够找到一个解决方案。

据悉，昨天谷歌中国召开了全体员工的视频会议。谷歌的创始人谢尔盖-布林在会上表示，“我们现在还没有正式做出退出的决定，是否退出取决于和中国政府商谈的结果。”(安卡)

Google is so arrogant.  The two owners are US FenQin.  They are in line with today's Dem controlled left wing administration.  Whenever Dems are in, they would just love to use (or even are crazily obsessed with using) human rights and some hollow pussy value to harrass China.  Today the US even wanted to issue a formal protest against China.  So what? China issued six formal protests against US/Taiwan arm transaction, did the US change anything?  It's just a political posture.  But google is so stupid that they thought were still dealing with the Soviet Union.  

Google's business in China is too small to become a real issue between the US and China.   I think O8 and Clinton and some pussy value followers have been depressed and frustrated for months over the fact that they could not harrass China on human rights issues as they did in the 90's because the US is itself deeply in trouble and needs China's support.  Now that the stock market/financial market has been stablized, they finally found a chance or created a chance to clap China's face before next week's human right talks.  They are still afraid of tieing any real substantial economic interests with those human rights things so Google's "chicken bone" Chinese business is perfect for them.
