可是给始终把归化移民不等同于加国出生,本身就是歧视。

I hardly see such petition has any influence to stop this bill or amend any clause before it becomes law soon since conservative party is a "majority" government which means they have no problem to pass it. Unfortunately, the only way to challenge this bill is through supreme court which will take years.

it may takes several years to fight it back.
But I register it in order to show my opinion and voice ...

还有一个唇忘齿寒，兔死狐辈的道理。

就算谈遵纪守法，就算你能保证自己，你能保证别人没有是非缠上你？
你能保证将来不会回中国或者别的地方去发展？

就算你能保证这一切，你能保证保守党不会出台针对移民更严厉的政策？
永远的把自己的命运交在别人手里？

Conservative party tends to take opinions/advices from extremist groups (rather through ordinary citizens) which is something that I have always been uncomfortable with.  Anyway, I already signed the petition and pray for the best to those who are fighting against this bill ;)

我有朋友，香港人，加国出生，她母亲临产前去加拿大生了她，满月离开，香港长大，美国欧洲上学工作，出生一个月后，从来没有回去过加拿大，没有交过一天税。
可是按照新法她是一等公民。
