$spx:$vix ratio chart may suggest bounces, but nobody knows how far it is from important bottoms.
A lot of a indicators gave sell signal from end of July to mid August. Similarly they gave buy signals in the beginning of July. I feel terrible that I have ignored all these sell signals and being an contrarian for the past few weeks.

I found these spx 60 min renko charts and thinking about use them as mechanical trading system. Maybe it is a good idea for paper trading to get the statistics.

In strong uptrend, market can ignore these sell signals for quite some time or only make small corrections and continue up, like March this year. Vice versa for strong downtrend; buy signals may not produce a lot of upside.

Thanks lot! Let me take a little time to digest your charts and dig out gold from them. According to my FA gut due to current unclear circumstance of QE tapering, the new fiscal budget talk, new Fed chairman and Debt ceiling, Germany election etc, I do feel there is a storm coming in next few weeks. I guess it is just a start so far. How strong will the storm is?????????????????

The purpose is to have an objective judgement what the market is telling, instead of guessing in order to avoid numerous mistakes I made.
