Note on Al Brooks's HL trending following method.

刚看了火星人Best Trade学习笔记 。总结得很好。

有一点我要说明。Al Brooks是一个scalper。这个enter set up, 有一个exit target， 1P ES. 看到这，你就会明白，为什么他能call这么多trade。

我要说的是，Al Brooks是我见到的最好的day trader。这个setup很棒。 但是， 不要用它做trend following。

Yes. I am very familiar with his work. The best I have every seen. Everything he said is absolutely true.

Trader can strictly follow his plan, just remember his exist target of 1P ES. and need to be followed strictly too.

If you want to make more points in one trade. A lots of his trade set up need be filtered out, to fit a larger exist target.

The two traders' methods have more similarity than it looks. Just remember, both are scalping methods.

I think most of us talk about trend following but itself is not enough to make money, we should be able to anticipate trend reversal. When a trend can be easily reversed? when it is a pullback in high time frame trend.

Not high time frame. I am afraid.

A trend is a living thing of its own. Just a 5 min candle chart, can tell trend reversal. i will open a thread and talk about what I believe is a daily trend reversal.

Trading reversal is just harder. It's discussed in his third book of the series ... Beginners should play with his trend following setups first.
