Ex-CME programmer pleads guilty to theft

A former programmer at CME Group, the largest US futures exchange operator, has admitted to stealing proprietary software while pursuing plans to provide help to an electronic exchange in China.
Chunlai Yang, a 49-year-old naturalised American, pleaded guilty to two counts of trade theft on Wednesday. He faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of $250,000 for each count.
