I visited my friend who was my university classmate and his son at Sydney Children's Hospital tonight. His son is currently on life support unit at the ICU and he is facing the most difficult decision of having to give consent to remove his son from the life support unit. His son is effectively brain dead after suffering an asthmatic attack on Tuesday despite prompt actions from my friend and immediate hospitalisation. Looking at the devastated parents gives one perspective on what is really most important in life. I know a lot of us here spend disproportionate amount of time looking at the market. Those of us that do that have our priorities wrong. Our families are the most important things in our life and we should spend most of our time with them because one never knows what the future holds.
