if so, it is more likely to see another push up before the FED announcement ...
The Kansas City Fed names (.pdf) Esther George as its new President. She takes over for Thomas Hoenig who - as it customary for departing Fed leaders - will skip the last meeting set for next week. Interesting perhaps, if it means the Fed's troika of dissenters have a little less support than they would counted on from a sympathetic (but non-voting) Hoenig.
