AA is not a barometer of economy at all.  It's just a high cost supplier in a low cost suppliers dominated industry.

Don't read too much into its ER,  keep in mind AA's 50% revenue comes from US.

If you want to read the economy health status from some companies ERs, here is a list:

GE
UTX
GOOG
JPM / BAC / GS
MSFT/ INTC
Some big consumer staples/ discreationary  like PG  JNJ
Some big retailers

I do know AA is not so important, but feel the atmosphere of the market is not so bullish...
JPM will release ER soon, let's see how the market reacts.

USDCHF是个先导。日元和黄金是配合确认。到目前还没有迹象美元升值。
