income tax is too high in either SH or BJ,  unless your major income is not from salary+bonus.

HK is indeed tax heaven, especially to you rich US citizens or GC holders.

HK tax is only 15% I think , flat.

But you still have to pay tax to US IRA, right?  How much you can save even if you stay in HK?

老妖你在大家拿，情况不一样的啊。

The $$ made in HK will be taxed (even combined in HK and US) less than those made in US. To US, the first 80K(?) earned abroad is free from US tax. HK tax will be credited back as US tax.  so if you are making $250-300K, you virtually pay 15% flat tax rate.
