When I mean by several MACDs, I mean by this in below chart.  It works like gravity in laws of physics, which I think it is a must-have along with other signals in your swing trading setup.  I put explanations on chart.

I don't think market can go up much from here as signals are rolling over on hourly chart.  The best bulls can do is put up a range day so bears won't be able to take it down from here.

Guys, I don't use wechat at all and I know it's very popular in china which my gf is also using it.  I only use Google Drive where I can chat with others directly so we could share stuff.  The only group of traders that I normally associate with is quant traders because I need their inputs sometimes to play with algo stuff.

I am just curious if you don't mind I ask, Lucky. How much of your money is used for the algo auto trade, and how much is used for manual trade, in percentage term? Which one has better performance?

It all depends on your trading capital and how much risks you are willing to take.  To begin with, I used $10k and now, I configured it to $80k for now per each trade for ETFs such as SPXL & SPXS.  As more profits coming in, I'll definitely increase its size, but my gf is strongly objecting me as she wants me to put a big junk of money into a much bigger house in near future.  By the way, she has been spending most of her time on researching those custom-build brand new houses/mansions these days which mean she is pushing me very hard to............ you know what I mean for the rest.   haha~~~

As for manual trading like options account, I've some 6-figure capital to play with.  If I lose it all, that means I'll never touch options again.

Which one generates more consistent and better profits?  So far, I can't beat algo yet because I'm not smart enough.  Maybe I'll give up the whole manual trading thing and let Algo to take over some day.

Appreciate your reply and explanation. Please don't hit me if I ask another question. Which timeframe is your algo trade playing with, daily chart, hourly chart, or 5 minute or 1 minute chart? I would guess it is not a high frequency trade algo. What is your average holding period for the algo position? Thanks.

I just bought 100 puts as a swing trade few minutes ago to test out water.  I might get out at any time though.

I prefer not to mention specifically which time-frame as it took years for me to switch back & forth for each time-frame to test each signal in order to get a perfect setup.  So, I let you guys to figure that out.  All I can say is that it's intraday one and holding periods is variety due to stop-loss getting triggered or one of few conditions is met which triggers it to book profit.  I sometimes manual get out a position or shut it down before some major events coming out.

That's good enough, Lucky, as you already mentioned it is an intraday one. I understood you don't want to talk too much about it. Appreciate your explanation. I admire your achievement. Please keep us posted whatever you want to share. We always can learn something from you.

One rule of thumb is you have to be persistent, patient and never giving it up.  If you are so easy to give up (like those rich kids in China nowadays), you never get succeeded in anything that you do.
