No insight, but I guess it won't go crazy as before, especially the CIC rejected 300k immigration applications will create a period of vacuum with less landed immigrants in coming years,  which will constrain the buyer demand. The market should cool down literally.

Plus next cycle oil shoots up above $120,  the interest rate will be in hiking up trend, I guess people will not flee into real estates like nowadays which is with historic low mortgage rate.

You should go ask some 60 years old HK Immigrants in Canada, they know it all.

I know a 越南华侨, 50s, immigrated to Canada 30 years ago. So far, he collected 10 houses in downtown Toronto. So he just lives off the rents, very nice.
