no good rule for that...
some traders use 20EMA as the gauge..
if price is up & down along 20EMA, it is clearly range..
it it better to trade when price is moving at one side of EMA..
at the upper side of EMA, buy-dip..
at the lower side of EMA, do short..

after a large moving up, the market should pause a littlie bit, as today...
then take break, no trade...
