湾区的一个社区，每个上市的房子，不是Bank owned，就是Short sale。你想找Regular sale的都没有可能。因为整个社区，House value都Underwater。

现在的房市，完全靠Bargain hunter在支撑。占了半壁江山。
银行卡住Foreclosure，不上市流通，根本就没有足 ...

CM, I heard that a good number of people from mainland China are buying cheap houses in California (I am not sure which area in CA) now. I checked a few real estate websites - the average house price is holding well (or even has increased) for the past 6 months. But it seems that you do not think this is the bottom of the housing market yet. Do you have some data or information to share with us to show what your prediction of the housing price trend is? 房贷更改后，多数还是End of foreclosure.

    这个应该是针对那些有能力还贷，但是因为equity负太多而想放弃房子的人。一方面减少银行的cost，一方面减少市场上的inventory.

    可是从另一方面来看，房价已经接近造价了。在这种情况下愿意卖房子的人，无论是散户还是builder，都越来越少了。所以一方面市场上房子多，另一方面，房价却不怎么下降了。这种僵持局面迟早会打破，经济好转就会向上，经济恶化就会向下。I have no idea.
