你管他大盘牛还是熊呢？对不？对历史数据，要谨慎使用，否则和『刻舟求剑』差不多。

做股票，就是从股市赚钱，啥理论，不能帮你赚钱，就该丢到垃圾桶里去。

大盘牛熊之争，熊熊只剩下最后一条防线了，被突破是早晚的事。

NND，无官一身轻，想说啥就说啥！呵呵！

a different angle to differentiate bull and bear. Nice analysis. Even in bear market, the bounce or bear market rally is very powerful, or even more powerful than in bull market. To me, the strategy is buy low and sell high in bear market; buy and hold in bull market. I tried trading on both sides (long or short) in bear market. But I found that my long trade is more profitable than short. It requires very good timing and mindset change to trade both sides. Currently I don't have such skill to trade short. I decided to trade only long side even in bear market (just like swing trade 401k).

Excellent long term viewpoint. However it cannot be used to direct trading most time, just like what like2swing said: "Even in bear market, the bounce or bear market rally is very powerful, or even more powerful than in bull market."

同意4楼，VIX是对未来30天的预期，没有同SPX的比较，就没有更多的意义。
