Morning Notes

•Sellers dominating most of this morning sessions as the SPX sinks lower towards Daily S1 around 1621/1622 vicinity with Internals in a much more negative tone than earlier.
•Sector action shows Staples, Energy, Utilities, Gold and Reits holding up better than most.  US Dollar weakness makes Gold stocks worth a closer look as well. On the weak-side, Biotechs are getting distributed aggressively, followed by weakness in Financials, Internet, Technology, Transports and some Retail.

Consumer Discretionary sector underperforming the broader market

Consumer discretionary stocks are underperforming the broader market. The XLY is -0.6% (XRT -0.8%) vs. a 0.3% decline in the SPY.

Casino stocks are modestly lower after Macau gross gaming rev rose 13.5% in May; AERL -2.4%, MPEL -1.5%, MGM -0.8%, LVS -0.7%, WYNN -0.3%.

May auto sales were out today and they were generally strong as truck and SUV sales lead the way; the Street has become bullish on the sector as of late.

Ford (F) sales rose 14% in May to the best level since 20116; F-Series sales grew 31%. The stock hit a 2 year high today.

GM sales rose 3% as Cadillac sales rose 37%.

CBRL (+3%) made new all-time highs today after beating Q3 estimates; co raised FY13 EPS and comp guidance and raised its dividend 50%.

P is -11% following reports AAPL could unveil a long awaited streaming music service as early as next week's WWDC.

SODA is +6% after Barclays raised their tgt to $100

BBY (-1%) has pared gains after Sun Trust Robinson Humphrey upgraded the stock to Buy

Stifel (-5%) downgraded TRIP to hold based on valuation
