其实走到今天这一步，是共和党内部的人先反水。奥巴马前一段时间在白宫设宴，请了business board的几个共和党头头，答应给企业减免税务，只要他们支持奥巴马。结果这几位就从了奥巴马了。然后才有Boehner去白宫和奥巴马见面。那时候Boehner手里已经没有什么牌了。发展到现在这一步，其实都在情理之中。这么发展就是为通过奥巴马的计划铺路的。过两天按照奥巴马的计划通过了deal，大家千万别惊讶。

哪有阴谋，都是阳谋，奥巴马成功的分化瓦解了共和党内部各派系，Majority leader已经没用了。

personally I think it's OK to hold long. but it will be painful and scary. many people who make their mind to hold won't be able to survive the final washout. make sure you are mentally strong enough for it if you do want to hold.
