in bull market, there will be 牛股神， in bear market , there will be 熊股神， but after several years, you will realize that all those 股神 have all disappeared. There will be some left standing, but if you look closely, most of them if not all are day traders. It is common sense, longer the time frame + bigger the position = bigger the risk
Unless you are John Paulson, getting paid to play someone else money, he will hold on even after 20% down. In ST, faith is very important.
One way you can try is to accumulate your small profit in DTs , then bet your profits into options for a ST bet. If you win, you win big.
One more to add, in bear market, forget about trend following, bear market tend to have violent rallies. In bull market , trend is easier to identify and moves are smaller and gradual, so you can hold on with smaller positions.
In today's market, I would just DT because I just can't see the trend or don't give a fxxxx..... LOL |
