people's attitude doesn't really matter, because it can be easily twisted and will be twisted, of course if you have the power.
look at american indian, their ancesters owned this piece of land, and now they became native american, proud owner of their pitty preservations.
look at the southern statesmen, northern statesmen are enemy at civil war, and now they are united and proud as ever.
In this world, the ultimate solution is war. Winner takes all. That is it. no matter how you slice the truth and history, even God cannot change this law, or maybe this is his law.
