Liberal辩论的一个特点，就是先找一顶“政治不正确”的帽子给你戴上。
通常，这一杀手锏一祭出，对手就只有吃憋的份儿了。

可是，你这么仔细一想，他凭什么就能如此无须验证而颐指气使的占据“道德制高点”呢？

还是一句话：拿证据来！

政治的玩法必须是由两极往中间靠拢，共和党早TMD民主党化了，小布什的失误不是大家认为的两场战争，房市泡沫等（都是不得以而为之），而是让政府这个怪胎越来越大，花钱越来越不靠谱（比如农业补贴等）。没有茶党，又是一帮老头子在乱搞，一丘之貉。

其实我也同意茶党的很多看法。只不过最后他们提出的解决问题的办法让人觉得是BS。如果他们继续这么干下去，明年还会把选票都推给OB。毕竟对美国工薪族来说，退休后看病要全部自己掏钱是不可想象的。

我为黑八和茶党鼓掌，这可是我第一次为黑八鼓掌。原因很简单，黑八和茶党今天都做了一件了不起的事。茶党的代表根本就没想过连任，他们要做的是把他们所代表的声音说出来；黑八今天虽然面子上输了，也可能会因此失去连任，但他选择了妥协，避免了美债危机，把国家利益放在连任之上，好汉子。回顾美国建国，哪里有什么职业政客，都是拿上枪就是兵，放下枪就是民，这样才能真正做到听民意，知民生。现在那帮老头子，什么瑞德之流，娘希平，他知道个鸟民生，只知道党争。

消减开支，对经济会有损失，但无限宽松，彻底债务危机货币化，那才是不归路。

True. A typical politician cares nothing but his/her post/next election. However, tea party members just bring in the fresh air to DC: they tackle the national crisis head-to-head, without worrying their political future.

Ironically, their demand is simple common sense: Living Within Your Means!

On the other hands, think about what the government has supported and wasted: Public Unions, Cash for Clunkers, First time home buyer's credit, Bridges to Nowhere ...

how about promise that nobody get sick after retirement?  then we don't have to worry about the health care payment and free up huge chunk of federal spending.  It will solve most of the problem that US facing as a nation.

俺一直没费功夫去搞清Tea Party到底是些什么主张，老大能否给俺们科普一下。反方的观点俺也想听。

没看到已经有那么多讨论。俺这个跟帖是多余了。

说点跟老大不同的想法。

说O8选择了妥协，避免了美债危机，这话没错。说他把国家利益放在连任之上，这个结论下的有点早了。俺这么说并没有排除这有这个可能。从O8上任之初对华尔街的高调到后来民众抱怨其只救助Wall Street而不顾Main Street，可以看出O8是在华尔街和现实的压力下当时做出了宁可得罪民众也不得罪华尔街的务实选择。无论他之前的宣称是什么，至少在当时他做出的是一个职业政客的选择，反映出其骨子里善于妥协的天性。这可能正是O8的长处。所以俺对O8最后一刻的让步毫不意外。

俺曾经倾向于民主党。但看了这些年民主党执政的州政府所为，俺现在倾向于共和党限制大政府的主张。民主党的政策只能让这个越来越懒的国家养更多地懒人。但共和党也根本拿不出真正的救国方案，一帮只想看紧自己钱袋子的大爷。茶党吗，几年前对Sarah Palin的竞选演讲没有好印象，不知新近又能搞出什么名堂。

要俺说，美国早已走上了不归路，提高债务上限只是将危机爆发的时间推迟。今天刚看到一个新闻，Nike， Adidas，和New Balance这三大著名运动鞋的厂商在美国只剩NB在Maine州还有一家鞋厂，也面临在最后关门的风险。俺想说的是，美国只靠所谓高精尖的技术产品出口及知识产权维持不了全民的高消费。所以对于一个民众越来越依赖政府而产出却越来越少的国度，想继续维持超高的平均消费水准，政府除了借更多地钱还能有什么别的选择呢。

谢谢你的回复和信息。

前两条看上去不错，只是实施上打多少折扣没人说的清。比如共和党批评民主党乱花钱，可共和党在台上时，副总统DC把伊拉克的工程项目给了自己的关系户，还加倍跟政府收钱。媒体披露出来后，没多久就不了了之。现在这个茶党，没有其他共和党人的支持上不了台，如果上了台就不能完全找茶党的意思办。说的和最后做许多多对不上号，大到政党，小到公司管理层，全是这个路数。最后那条，自由的市场，只对制定市场规则的人有效，对自己不利便改。
