not very indicative. the recovery rate from CDS auction will be close to 100%, even if it would experience a technical default. That's exactly what happened for FRE and FNM's CDS.

没错和debt ceiling有关， Ron Paul今天上CNBC就说了， 他宁愿卖掉美国gold reserve， 宁愿让美国债务default, 也不同意再次提高debt ceiling. 华盛顿有一些政客支持他的意见， 尤其是属于tea party的政客。 虽然这些人只是少数， 但是给提高debt ceiling的议案造成了不确定因素, 已经延迟一次推迟到8月份了， 如果还是不能达成协议，再延迟一次那可能就要拖到明年了，到时候不能发行公债，美国没钱了，就得跟中国过去学 - 给农民开白条！

anyway, 股市不喜欢uncertainty.

It's all about US credit rating.

The possibility of US debt default is very very small.


BTW, Who's going to lend US money if US debt default?
