hehe, I don't care about MSFT a bit. But I am sure you won't be able to tell the sound quality diff between ipod and zune, or from any other $100 mp3 players.

When people still listen to CD, I built high_end HDCD decoder for high_end audio system.

I built power amplifer and speakers too.

Yes, you're right on one thing, I can't tell the difference of any MP3 player, because I never care about them.

MP3 format is lossy format.

I only listen to original CD/HDCD.

I store my audio on my PC by using no-loss format.

I can tell the difference between $100K and 90K audio system.
