U need to know more about this HF and what's their trading strategy. You need to know their rules for partnership and salary route. You need to know what exactly they expect you to do. Anyway, in general, don't sign anything, don't promise anything yet. Right now, it is just a ball park play, you need their information as much as you can get, since it appears they know you more than you know them.

Good luck. You deserve it. Remember that I mentioned a long time ago, I'd buy you not your site. So, I think they want same thing. So, parternership is you goal and theirs too. But the general way is start with salary route and then promote to parternership. I think this is a new HF, so they do it a little different. I am so happy to know this, really happy for you.

Why 10 points short? I just follow the market, if it says 1230 is the top of the rebound, then it is.
My forcast is 1225 area,  it move 5 points higher but still within my expectation. 1200 get taken out, then it is down, I will take it as simple as it is.

Agree that doing nothing is better than losing money.
But if I see trend change, then it may be just as good to jump in and get 1/2 of the move, instead of the 2/3 target.
