Remember if you want to short and can not borrow the stock, you can buy the put...better yet, if you want to get the same excitement as a true short, you can buy the put and at the same time sell the same strike/month call (don't sell ITM call cause if the share is hard to be borrowed, your ITM call will get assigned right away).
