The Fed Chairman's speech today at 3:45pm at an Atlanta Fed conference is important because the topic is so open-ended ("The U.S. Economic Outlook") and because we haven't heard from him since the April FOMC press conference. Also, there will be a Q&A session following his prepared remarks. I don't have any real insight on what Bernanke might say, but perhaps it might be an opportune time for a little cheerleading on the economy. |
