Bullish sentiment among individual investors hits its highest point in nearly two and a half years, to 51.2%, according to the AAII Sentiment Survey. Bearishness slumped to 21.6%, well below its historical average of 30%. Most respondents said tech was their favorite sector.
The Fed buys $1.66B in Treasurys (2012-2013 maturity) in its latest POMO repurchase, of $39.152B offered by dealers. Treasurys holding today's gains especially on the short end: 10-year yield -0.04 to 2.68%; 5-year -0.07 to 1.27%; 2-year -0.04 to 0.38%.
