Yesterday I did the suggestion of taking some profit of your position trade..
here is a simple calculation behind it,
1a. assumed this rally will end at 1185
take 20% at 1160 (yesterday)
take 20% at 1175
take 20% at 1185
stopped out the rest 40% at 1165
the average price is (0.2*60+0.2*75+0.2*85+0.4*65) = 1170
1b. same top as 1185, fully stopped out 1165, so case 1a is 5 point more than case 1b
2a. assumed this rally will end at 1220 (double top)
take 20% at 1160 (yesterday)
take 20% at 1175
take 20% at 1185
take 20% at 1200
take 20% at 1220
the average price is 0.2*(60+75+85+100+120) = 1188
2b. same top as 1220, fully stopped out 1200, so case 2a is 12 point less than case 2b
But I don't know which one, 1185 or 1220 will be the answer...
