Yes, the PPI is really a surprise.

If demand is slow, the PPI surprise may not translate to a CPI surprise. On the contrary, CPI may keep a lid of PPI.

I think the discrepancy between PPI and CPI simply reflects the unbalanced recovery between emerging market and developed countries.

政府现在是变着法儿卖 ASSETS 圈钱。。。。小钱大钱都要圈。。。那个意思是这些BIG GUYS 知道经济的真实情况，想尽一切办法，能撑多久就撑多久。。。以后的事是下届政府的事。。。死活不光他们的事。。。

Last update for the day: ES Cum Vol running at 150% of 9 day average. That usually is a fairly good indication of a strong trend day. However, given the FED POMO, I am not sure how much to read into it. Today is different from the breakdown that occurred on Aug 11th in that I did not see about any decent paper buyer

    我觉得今天如果Fed没有那么神奇的话，最好不要指望有反弹了。

    2nd leg down不一定总是new low，所以也没那么可怕，看能否测试周一的low吧。
