GE 2010-03-24 DT Play

今天大盘跌， 但是DOW30 的股票普遍都不弱， 早盘逆势狂拉。回头想想为什么：拉高指数，拉高出货，一举两得。不过，最后几乎都打回原型。自己去看看IBM什么的，都是一个德性。

有那个牛人今天抓住了GE这波上涨？ 如果是，俺青蛙真的“佩服”，逆势抄底？有魄力，俺只能事后看到这波狂涨。

2min chart.  I used 1min chart in the session, but it's too much for a homework study.

I shorted GE on the left side at $18.85 (nickel numbers, thought it might go down), guess what ?  I had to cover it 6 cents above, which was 2 cents below the day's high, damn!  I have told myself 1million times don't fight the trend, damn!  Damn! Damn stupid!!!

Today is my worst day ever.

Now I use 3-min chart in 1st 45-min and then change to 5-min chart to the rest of the day.
1-min gives too many details. It is hard to make decision for me. I don't use it anymore.

Trend line broken & strong reverse bar pattern are the two basic conditions for me to load the trade, or exit the position.
Of course, how to draw trend line is pure art. 2 leg move is one of the criteria I am applying now.

We are short term guys, don't care the long term.  But, even with a long term perspective, I'd rather be waiting for a pull back test the breakout to go long.
