A federal jury in San Jose late Friday reached a verdict in the landmark patent trial between Apple and Samsung.

Lawyers on both sides, staying nearby at hotels, are headed to the courtroom to hear the verdict.

The case could determine damages of up to $2.5 billion against Samsung and as much as $400 million for Apple. It could also rewrite how global patent cases are decided in terms of mobile products.
