just a small note: AGNC is not a residential REIT, but a mortgage REIT. basically, it uses leverage via financial securities to increase return. furthermore most mortgage REITs purchases mezzanine tranches in CMO structures to further juice return. Strangely enough, AGNC survives the crisis pretty well, while many other mortgage REITS got beaten badly. it seems to be a good candidate. I will have to read its financial reports :-) For long term investments, FA is more important than TA...... 在此省略1000字避免更多的板砖。 |
