LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- Invesco PowerShares Capital Management LLC said late Tuesday its popular PowerShares QQQ exchange-traded fund (QQQQ 55.49, +0.10, +0.17%) will shorten its ticker on the Nasdaq exchange from "QQQQ" to "QQQ," effective Wednesday.
