    是VBA写的。数据从IB下载。另外SPY exdividend day 好像是9/17。

Lao Da, Don't be fooled by max pain this month. Almost 80% ITM call will be exercised on this Thursday for the dividend on Friday. Check back OI on Friday morning you will see the difference.

    在ex-dividend day之前，确实会有大量的ITM call 被exercise掉。不过从另一方面想，这种行为的目的是为了拿到或者避免付dividend 。大部分人会在短时间内将exercise得到的stock卖掉。产生卖压。所以我也不清楚这种行为对max pain理论有什么影响。实际上，就连max pain理论是否成立也有疑问。我的看法是，当交易量比较低时，市场容易被操纵，max pain成功的可能性比较大。

Lao da:  If you have time to check Set. OI of SPY and QQQQ today you will see big difference with Thursday's OI on ITM calls. For quarterly SPY option, max pain, or even huge put/call OI, will not work due to dividend plus big put premium (a low risk play). This will be right about 80% time. Just a kindly remind and continue to enjoy your ideas.

今早spy maxpain就是113了，最后差的并不多

This morning, SPY's max pain is around 114, due to the exercise of ITM calls (because of  dividend distribution). As I said, I'm not sure the impact of exercising ITM calls right before OE. Besides, I don't understand what do you mean being right about 80% time.

老大，今天上午我看到时，SPY的MAX PAIN已经是113了，因为昨天收盘后大量DEEP IN THE MONEY 的CALL被EXERCISED。

现在，QUARTERLY OPTION MAX PAIN：SPY115. 很恐怖啊！
