关于我的20 Index Fund的声明

鉴于不少人对我的20 Index Fund的质疑，特发表以下声明:
1. 我的fund的performance没有任何骗人的地方。这是有据可查的，任何人只要从5月17日按照我的每天报告里的买入和卖出（每次买入都是5%或$50000）都可以复制我报告里的performance。
2. The fund will hold at most 20 stocks at one time.
3. Each entry is about $50000 or 5% of the fund.
4. The starting fund balance on 05/17/2010 is $1,000,000.
5. Each individual stock is at most 10% of the fund.
6. Fund can hold cash at anytime
7. Buy or sell transactions only occur at daily market close price.

队长的评论不能说是武断的， 而是有相当的依据的质疑。... 另外他的质疑应该对你的 fund performance report 帮助很大。如果你能加上每天获利了结前后的 position snapshots 和 cash positions, 你的 performance report 会更具说服力。

是的，我会加上的。队长最开始的质疑我没觉的什么，我马上就是解释并且上图了。但是队长在我解释之后仍然质疑就是武断了，特别是他的最后1－2个贴子。

队长的评论不能说是武断的， 而是有相当的依据的质疑。... 另外他的质疑应该对你的 fund performance repor ...

zhyuan我相信你没有恶意，如果你的数据可靠、算法正确，就继续做好了。有些事情不必太在意，就连蛇大都多少次被人质疑了。象我这样的青蛙想误导别人都导不了呢。

这类实验，还是放在自己的BLOG或着是模拟帐户里。放在PUBLIC论坛里，就要有接受别人品头论足的气量。
实战经验，还是要真金白银的去作。股市绝大部分是心理战和资金管理。这些都是要花大钱去锻炼的。
除非你的目标是将来准备玩别人的钱，象基金经理一样。

我的看法是这样：如果你觉得是大牛，超有自信，帖出来给大家颇有指导意义或参考价值，尽管上。否则还是低调些为好。

楼主和队长的异议，我抽了一眼，头绪太多，没看明白，没法评。

呵呵，俺做为一个上班的小家伙（401K，MF为主），其实是支持您做这样的试验的。

不过，队长一开始对您的质疑是非常有用的，象您这样玩投资组合，每日的截图是绝不可少的。

后来嘛，两位各说各话，又总是多说一两句无关的话，就不投机了。

劝您把这个楼关掉，在原来的楼里加入说明，感谢队长对您的质疑。在以后每天的总结中，加入截图（可以考虑自定义的view，yahoo finance 可以做），包括cash position以及Total Gain/Loss，是不是更好呢？

Thanks. I will add screenshot from now on. But I still do not find how to shoe Total Gain/Loss from Yahoo Finance. The Gain column I find in Yahoo Finance is only for the current holding stocks which does not reflect the past realized gain/loss. Do you know anything esle?

Your Fund is meaningless and you know nothing about the stock. You are the biggest famous fanzhi on this board but you always pretend you know a lot to mislead people on this board. How's your heavy short position at SPX 740 last year? when did you cut your loss? How much did you gain last year? If you cannot answer these questions, please do not continue your "panda fund" and mislead others. Do you see any low hand on any board like you who always know nothing but pretend to be a high hand? You are the only one. Do you know why I say that? Maybe you don't know how bad your action will make. You started to pretend to be a high hand a few years ago. What you said is non-sense. I never pretend to be high hand. If you thought I was, it was your problem.
Second, why can't I short when SPX was 740? You can short anytime, but you need stop loss to protect your money.
Third, this 20 index fund is totaly different from what you said. What you said is about speculation play. This fund is for stable play and only compare with SP index.

Do you see any low hand on any board who have a trash fund like you? You think you are better than normal frogs but actually you are not, you are even worse because you cannot put yourself in a right position.
Your only strategy to trade stock is: short the market when you see it up 3-4 days and long the market when you see it down 3-4 days.
That's the only strategy you have.
That's why last year you keeep shorting the market, keep shorting GS. How much did you gain last year? Now I guess your money is only enough to do 1 ES trade every time.

    In Yahoo Finance, you can create your own View. I tested your portfolio by first creating the view I need (or you can Edit the Performance view), including fields as: Symbol, Name, Last Trade (With Time), Change & Percent, Shares Owned, Price Paid, Commission (you should have this info), Trade Date, Holding Value, Holding Gain & Percent.

Next step, in your special Portfolio, please use Transaction tab (not Position only) to record all your transactions, including Cash in (1,000,000 on 5/17) , Buy shares, and Sell shares.

Since I don't have enough info about how many shares your bought for your closed positions, I couldn't retrieve all your transactions, please next time give detailed info for every day trade: Shares, Price, Trade Date, and commission (at least $7 for my Scottrade), thus everybody can repeat and test your results.
