　　中新网4月30日电 据美国《世界日报》报道，美国华人医师王立山(又译王励山)涉嫌因复仇，在康州枪杀前同事。他的太太马兰28日接受该报采访时表示，事前王立山并没有任何异象，只说要出去散散心，没想到竟然闯下大祸。

　　目前带着孩子住在乔治亚州的马兰哽咽地说，王立山杀人是不对的，但他们全家还是爱着他，她希望王立山 “要有自信，不要放弃”。

　　马兰说，她确信王立山受了很多的冤枉，他被压抑了很长一段时间，被逼到没法安身的地步，“才会做出傻事”。她说，王立山一直没有好工作，后来经朋友介绍，在亚特兰大的一所非洲裔的医院工作。她说，大儿子马上又要上大学了，王立山长期没有工作，承受很大的心理压力，“无法用言语劝他”。

　　马兰边说边流泪，她说，王立山人很好，爱家也爱小孩，当天王立山跟她说要出去散散心，她也不觉得有异样，她认为，长期苦闷的王立山出去走走，很正常。之后就再也没有接到王立山的电话或只字词组，当她得知先生闯了大祸时，整个人都呆住了。

　　马兰28日还透过律师发发表简短声明，对枪击案表示“震惊和难过”。美联社引述由马兰在亚特兰大的律师提供的声明说，马兰对上述不幸事件的受害人图尔的妻子和孩子表示慰问。她并表示，希望保护好自己的孩子，在上帝的帮助下“度过难关”。

　　王立山、马兰夫妇育有两子一女。王立山夫妇住在亚特兰大西北郊的迈瑞耶塔市(Marietta)一栋位于半山腰的公寓里，附近林木苍松，环境优美，他们的单位在后面边间楼上。公寓经理说，两房一厅的公寓每个月的房租约7、800元，由于公寓住户很多，她说对王立山没有印象。

how much do you know U.S. ? this is a nation of jungle rules. You should really read the story of Vincent Chin before you made such a claim, probably you've never heard about Virgina Tech ? and the massive gunshots from Ohio all the way to Texas ? No one will protect you and your family except yourself.

Just this year, in San Francisco/Oakland, 2 elderly Chinese man were beaten to death when they were just walking in DOWNTOWN,  the so called "mainstream" media barely mention these tragedies. I personally know someone who is almost stabbed to death in Huston, and the police only questioned him for less than 5 minutes, and he's never able to talk to the police after that.

When nobody protects you, you have to stand up and do the justice, and this is what this guy is doing. No offense,  but IMHO being funky and sucking up the shit doesn't earn others respect ! especially here in U.S.

How do you think Chinese are treated, worse or better, in the United States comparing Chinese common people are treated by Chinese police in China?

    1. what I said is reality ( first hand information ) , not assumption. You should really learn more  about U.S.,  get out of the ivy tower, talk to the people in China town in San Francisco/Oakland.
2. as I mentioned earlier, U.S. is a nation of democracy and so called human rights  in paper, but it's a nation of jungle rules. In jungle rules you don't know a license to protect yourself and your family. Just like U.S. doesn't need a license to invalid Iraq or Afghanistan, this is its right to protect itself from terrorism.
3. I don't see why the way the people are treated by the police in China is involved here. If you are concerned, fine, try to punch a police or CHP officer in L.A,  and see what you get. Don't forget to take some photos, came here and I will buy you a dinner, if you are still alive.  Then I will go and  punch a policeman in Beijing, does this sound fair ?

1) Sorry, I am not interested or crazy enough to punch anybody, let alone US/China police. You can do whatever you like to do, but it is none of my business.
2) I am also sorry, I am not interested to have lunch or dinner with you, no matter who is going to pay for it.

    If someone ruined your life, and it is not your fault. What do you do? Let's face it - a hospital resident position is very hard for a Chinese to get. So you can imagine that he takes it seriously.

I don't mind getting a cold shoulder but I really wish I could give fellow Chinese people ( those in U.S. ) a wake up call. Some of them just keep denying the status quo. Hopefully our community can at least agree that we should help his family.

I wished I would never see such tragedies but I know it's day-dreaming at best, it will happen again and again unless the Chinese community can stand up united. What can I say ? "The road to hell is paved with good intentions"  ...
