in essence, Google doesn't have any technology that China envies, it is  just a media/information colonizer in this information age. And China has had enough with cnn, bbc ... , so it will try everything to contain google, and subsidize baidu. What China did seems to be very ugly, but that's the right way to go, the earlier to force google out of china, the better

不知道大家看今天的华尔街时报没有，头版头条就是说这个事。ｇｏｏｇｌｅ辩称中国屏蔽信息违反了他们“信息自由”的初衷。其实ｇｏｏｇｌｅ只是一个企业，它有它自己诞生伊始就建立的企业文化，如果它在中国经营和它文化相左，退出是可以理解的。至少它认为自己是政治正确的。只是它在自己的老本营－－美国－－不要搞双重标准就好。
