在美国总统奥巴马将要与18日会晤达赖喇嘛之际，美国17日晚间公布的一项民意测试显示，近3/4的美国人认为，西藏应该是一个独立的国家。

　　美国有线新闻网（CNN）/民意研究公司周四（18日）公布的调查也显示，大多数美国人认为，更重要的是保持与中国的良好关系，而不是对西藏采取某一种立场。

　　这项民调公布于奥巴马总统将要在白宫会见西藏流亡精神领袖达赖喇嘛之际。

　　根据这项调查，达赖喇嘛很受美国人欢迎，有56%持有支持他的立场，仅有18%的美国民众对他有不好的印象。

　　有线电视新闻网投票站主任基廷荷兰，“这使达赖喇嘛与其他主要的宗教人物显得一样重要，” “达赖喇嘛的支持率与教皇59%的以及美国最著名的传教士比利格雷厄姆57%的支持率基本一致。

　　调查还显示，53%的人也认为美国在人权方面对中国采取的强烈立场比与北京搞好关系更重要。而仅有44%的人认为，与北京保持良好的关系更重要。

　　但调查也同时表明，支持以武力对台湾采取强烈立场的美国民众比支持与北京搞好关系的美国民众多6个百分点。

　　美国有线电视新闻网/民意研究公司的调查于2月12日至15日，大约1,023个美国成年人通过电话询问。该调查的抽样误差为整体调查的正负3个百分点。

Texas joined US voluntary.

Texas has the right to be independent, but I don't think most Texans want that.

A few Texans do, probably, I know a lady, she and her husband do not pay tax, because they think they are not US citizen.

Now Texas accounts for 13% GDP of USA. If they can choose again, they will probably choose to be independent.

No, absolutely not, majority of Texans don't want to be independent, no way.

Now, Texas becomes the second state which European Whites are not majority. The first is Hawaii.

民意是可操纵的，2003年打伊拉克前，说伊有大规模杀伤性武器，民意支持开打，最后呢？打了，没发现。要的就是打，民意可以玩，这就是政治。

主席说，敌人的敌人是朋友，还说谁是我们的敌人，谁是我们的朋友，是革命的首要问题。国人要多学主席的著作，不会象今天被动。
