NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures on Friday added a bit to early gains after the government reported the economy grew more than expected in the fourth quarter. Up about 50 points before the Commerce Department reported real gross domestic product rose 5.7% in the final three months of 2009, futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were lately up 67 points at 10,129. Those for the S&P 500 were ahead 8.2 points at 1,087.4, while Nasdaq 100 futures rose 15 points to 1,785.25. |
