We couldn't wait to see the beach and enjoy the 80+ degree temperature since 40 degree is considered as 'warm weather' in NJ winter.
Beach is right on the back of our hotel, we stayed in Miami beach area btw.
The boardwalk is pretty good, nice and small. It's located between the hotel and beach.
The next day we took a tour to Everglades Park, which was BAD.
This guy is our tour guide (supposed to be) and the driver of the so called 'air boat'. He should be the worst tour guide I've ever experienced with.
Wild life show, which was average.
Cuban dinner was pretty good. Versailles Cuban Restaurant, on Collins Ave.
Now 5 nights cruise. Unfortunately we had to take one more cruise trip on Royal Caribbean due to the time and destination factor.
I already took 3 cruise trips on RCCL, their food is really not that good. Princess and Celebrity are a notch better.
View of Miami from the higher deck of the ship (Navigator of Seas)
The statetoom is standard, I think it's a little bigger than Celebrity's.
Some shots for the ship, overall it's maintained OK.
First stop is RCCL's private island in Haiti, it's located on the northern coast of Haiti.
Just enjoy the weather and beach, very good.
Second stop is Ouch Rios in Jamaica. We booked a excursion trip though a local 'agency' (Peat Taylor).
The famous destination is the Dunn's Falls. A local guy tried to sell a stuff to me for $60, I ended up to pay him $10.
Another ship in the port. Holland America.
Dunn's Falls
Not a bad place
Nothing beats a winter trip to south to enjoy the coast sunshine. |
