Under the Treasury guidelines, the banks will have 15 days from when they
repaid their bailout funds to submit an offer for what they would be willing
to pay to buy back the stock warrants.

Treasury will then have 10 days to respond. If Treasury objects to the bank'
s offer, it can make a counteroffer, using a range of pricing methods.

If the two sides cannot agree on a price, appraisers for each side will be
appointed. If those appraisers remain apart, then a third appraiser will be
brought in, according to Treasury's guidelines.

The department received $68 billion in repayments of bailout funds on June
17. The largest amounts were $25 billion from JPMorgan Chase & Co., and $10
billion each from Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Morgan Stanley. They now have
until the end of June to make an offer for the warrants.

FNM my pain in 2008.

I got like 100+ FNM 30 CALLs, 500+ 35 CALLs when FNM dropped to 18, and it shot back to $36 or something in several days. The 35 CALL was sold at $3+ when it was 36.x.

I added 10000 share of FNM at 0.52 today. If it continuous to drop next week,  I will add more. I have enough patience for the penny stock. But don't fellow me.

FRE很多中国人，据一位做分析的朋友讲，FRE和FNM很可能会被合并成一个政府机构。这样的话股东肯定是要wipe out，员工大部分也会被裁掉，主要看两房的bond 怎么处理。
