The Biden Administration this morning revealed the first 10 drugs for which Medicare will negotiate prices (which will go into effect in 2026) under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).

The drugs include:

Eliquis, a blood thinner from Bristol Myers Squibb

Jardiance, a diabetes drug from Boehringer Ingelheim and Eli Lilly

Xarelto, a blood thinner from Bayer

Januvia, a diabetes treatment from Merck

Farxiga, a diabetes treatment from AstraZeneca

Entresto, a heart failure treatment from Novartis

Enbrel, an autoimmune disease treatment from Amgen

Imbruvica, a cancer drug from Johnson & Johnson

Stelara, a treatment for Crohn's disease from Johnson & Johnson

Fiasp and Novolog, nsulins made by Novo Nordisk
