Successful traders don't follow anyone to trade and they trade only when it's necessary.  They always wait for a trade to come to their bait, instead of trying to make a trade to happen.  This is where many traders fail because of either a) lacking a good trading system and b) lacking discipline to follow their trading system to trade.

Those who sell options calls and puts know very well that there is no room for any mistake because a fatal trade will take days, weeks or months to recover losses.  Another fatal trade and more will likely cause a lot of damaging to trading mentality because you will begin to show sign of losing confident in yourself.

The longer any of us trade this market, the more you realize that we are in battles of war on each market day.   To win this war, I find a quote of 孫子 works very well for novice traders to follow in order to become successful in trading business.  Here it is: it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.
