July crude oil is +1.8% at $93.60/barrel, July natural gas is +1.0% at $4.02/MMBtu, July RBOB is +1.9% at $2.81/gallon, and July heating oil is +2.1% at $2.84/gallon.

COMEX Metals Closing Prices

•Aug gold rose $18.40 to $1412.10/ounce
◦Gold advanced today as the dollar index slid following data showing the ISM Manufacturing Index contracting for the first time since November 2012. The yellow metal took off from its session low of $1390.00 and rose as high as $1416.50. It spent afternoon action trading just below that level and settled with a 1.3% gain.
•July silver rose $0.48 to $22.73/ounce
◦Silver rallied to a session high of $22.92 in late morning pit action after trading as low as $22.27 earlier in the session. It eventually settled with a 2.2% gain.
•July copper rose 4 cents to $3.33/lb

NYMEX Energy Closing Prices

•July crude oil rose $1.48 to $93.41/barrel
◦Crude oil rose steadily during today's floor trade, getting support from a slide in the dollar index following data showing the ISM Manufacturing Index contracting for the first time since November 2012. The energy component lifted off its session low of $92.23 set in early morning floor trade and brushed a session high of $93.68. It settled slightly below that level, booking a 1.6% gain.
•July natural gas settled unchanged at $3.98/MMBtu
◦Natural gas climbed to a session high of $4.04 but lost momentum in afternoon floor trade and trended lower. It erased all of its earlier gains as it settled the session unchanged.
•July heating oil rose 5 cents to $2.83/gallon
•July RBOB gasoline rose 3 cents to $2.78/gallon
