I think only Cobra is capable of achieving consistent profit. You may want to make the suggestion to him. He's "almost" doing what you are proposing by showing us the setups. The only thing he hasn't been saying is whether we should take the trades or not, which depends on our own reward/risk ratios or considerations.
Cobra has been saying that it is easier to comment on the market than trade on the comments. Why? Because the second aspect of trading is our own psychology, which is as important as our market sense/TA. It's very different to trade with real money, and it even more different to trade with real money from other people. The psychological impact greatly influences our decision making regarding to reward/risk considerations. It really takes long time to be able to stay cold-blooded in seeing losses. I'm still improving on this aspect.
So, the best way for us all to improve is to water here, to share how and what you see in the market, and to share your setups and reward/risk considerations. Once everyone is good at this, at least more than 20% of HTers will make money. Another issue is that it needs a license to pool money for joint trading, i.e. we need to be able to trade as financial advisers. The third issue is whether we want to make a living by trading. If we don't have time or we have anther job, DT is not for us. I realized that I couldn't do DT every day, so decided to go with intraday/week ST, at least when I'm still on the west coast. |
