随便聊两句，我是在制药行业做研发。和同事聊天: 同感是虽然还没有正式衰退，但感觉活在衰退中。可能其他行业很好，比如tech and energy. 可制药很难，大公司忙着外包和并购。可并购就意味着裁员。
伟大的毛巴马只骨折新能源，减排和汽车。制药行业是黑名单。CDC 嚷着需要10种新抗生素在2020年以前，可政府都让钱去了破产的太阳能，挺讽刺的。

I am working in IT of education (one state University). Recently six employees got laid-off. This never happened in past 30 years. If the situation is worse in coming year, this means this small laid-off this year is just signal of starting laid-off, the coming year more employees will get laid-off.

Hi-tech (RFIC). But very touch time. company stock is one third of three month ago.
In my neighborhood, more than one company rumor to cut people.
So at least, hi-tech is not that bright.

我也是这个行业， 08都没有受影响，可是现在好像慢慢感觉到了

我们行业(credit card)暂时还好。盈利能力削弱不少，但是坏帐也少了不少，所以暂时还可以。公司里有不少open position,但是因为不sponsor H1,所以不容易招到人。今年每个division都有不少钱，现在正在想办法花出去。呵呵

，俺们欧洲小企业日子还可以。大厂不做的小订单利润高得惊人，开销也大，但是没有大厂那样的官僚，开销就低了好多。更好的地方是：这里必须都是全能。。。好像我除了销售，其他的部门都干过。。。累是累一些，学到的东西用不完。。。。
