How's reading PDF on Kindle 3?

i bought a kindle 3 two weeks ago. Using it to read PDF need some tweaking.
reading text PDF can be converted to kindle format easily, the problem is PDF with lots of graph and table.
The best solution I found so far is by cropping the pdf document (eliminate the white space margin). This will greatly improve the readability.
