Consumer confident is a lagging indicator. Its initial drops have lot of influence on market when bull market topped. Now on the final growth rate downtrend, bottoming usually means economic bottoming. So, it is good news. Bought dip.

Shiller's data is always late, It is not very meaningful to market most of the time.
