　　据美联社消息7月6日，南海中国海军舰艇在巡航时遭越南巡逻艇拦截干扰，并向中国舰艇发出警告。随后在距不到2海里的前方拦截。


　　中国舰艇迎面撞去，越南巡逻艇掉头规避时被中国舰艇拦腰撞上，越南巡逻艇被撞损。初步认定死亡6人，获救7人，数人失踪。中方无伤亡，舰艇无损。据报道，中国海军是一艘90年产的3000多吨的巡洋舰，越方是一艘1000余吨70年代前苏联产的巡逻艇。

　　越方外交部紧急召见驻越大使向中方提出抗议，中方表示是越南侵入了中方的领海。目前，被救的越方军人在中方的舰艇上进行救治。越方表示是被扣押，要求立即放人。
