I started trading stocks almost 20 years ago. I was doing OK until last year's crash.
I kept buying and selling all the way down, waiting for rebound and was sure it would come sooner or later. However, never imagined such a stupid crazy rally of this big, lasted this long. As a result, All my 401K has been in cash position for almost 10 months, since I have been waiting for a significant pullback, or even double dip to test last year's low.
It seems it will never come. That's fine. The problem is that it seems that this market can keep going up forever. Bulls are so resilent that nothing can bring it down.
Now that NAS is very close to its high before this crash. It's very interesting to see that while the main street is still suffering high unemployment. Looking around, I'm seeing friends laid off and more lay-off are coming in our company. but WS is enjoying a bull market which has almost doubled from its lows. NOthing makes sense these days.
I have been trying stay on the sidelines for a long time, knowing that i've missed this rally completely. I guess people like me are people who suffered the most from this rally. It's not easy stay on the side line while the market keeps moving up day by day.
I need to reload my 401K.
I need to reload my IRA.
Besides, I need to re-learn trading stocks instead of index funds in my regular brokage account.
I hate this market. I hate wallstreet. For them, it's just a game to take money from other people, not investment at all. And the worse of it is: this government is doing whatever it can to help them. Right now, a lot of our tax money are going almost directly into those greedy WS people's purses. |
