What about Kennedy family? In the US, politicians are one profession. You need a lot connections to get in (in China, it is called "Ren Mai." That is the reality, same everywhere. In both countries, the road to the presidency is also accesible to outsiders (like Omaba and Hu JinTao). That is enough. Kids of high ranking officials have born advantages over others. If they want to be professional politicians, they could easily get access to powerful connections, they could benefit from their parent's discussion of national affairs (if they are smart, and trained from childhood to be a politician, they have great potential to become a good leader).
You can find a lot similar things - many of lawyers' children become lawyers, many doctors' children become doctors, many auto makers' children become skillful workers ----- nothing magical, it is all because such kids have access to such profession from early on (earlier than the general public).
So when politicians become a profession, official's children become officials are not uncommon. |
